It's over so quickly! As much as I loved homeschooling the kids, I look forward this coming school year to see Alex have fun in his new school while I go and attend to our business again. Things have been slacking of there and need to be whipped back in shape. When I told the employees that summer onwards I'd be there three days a week, they looked none too pleased ;-)
As a retired homeschooling mom this made me smile. Really big. Once in a while I'm struck when looking back at what great memories our homeschooling days provided. I remember enjoying it at the time (mostly), but I see the fun we had much better now than I think I did in the days when the messes and busyness were actually happening. I hope my boys look back and see it that way. ;^)
Thank you for stopping by. I am always happy to hear from you! Please leave a comment and let me know how you feel about a post or add advice, anecdotes, etc. of your own.
This is so true. When I look back to those early years, before high school started, I also get nostalgic.
